I have always owned a camera but that doesn't mean you should hire me, that simply means that I have always valued beautiful things, real moments, and preserving them. Things that others might have missed, I took pictures of it and now we have it to look back on.

What is photography to me? It's capturing a story. It's also being able to listen, respond, and pivot. It's being a therapist, stylist, educator, encourager and a longtime friend. It's about your season, your family, your highs & sometimes your lows, it's about new life, new friends, new degrees, careers, a new home, all of it!

Beyond that, my servant heart won't allow me to not care about you once our session is over and I am fine with that. I want to get to know you and the things you love and I want to turn that into something that will last.

The part where I need to say something, but i DON'T know what that something is.

Well hello honey!

Paragraph

-- > It's in how I photograph, and how I make you feel.

-- > I have always been told I make people feel so comfortable that when they leave their session, they feel like they've know me forever.  I you, and everything around you and shape  it into something  to remember. It's just what I do.

-- > When I say I will be your #1 cheerleader, I mean it. I am there to literally light you and everyone around you up!

-- > I am there for it ALL! I am there to reassure you it's going to be okay, I am there to make sure you have what you need, when you need it throughout the entire session.

-- > If you want to hear, "honey YES," "girl YES," "okay, I see you," "PERFECT," then look no further because H E R E    I     A  M.

Why me,  for you?

Some things I love...

•Fall. One word - so many possibilities.
I love it all - the scented candles, pumpkins, decorating, crisp air, Halloweentown (don't judge), fall sounding music (if that even makes sense). You catch my drift? I love fall!

•Spending the day in Gatlinburg,TN. If you haven't been, you have to. It can get touristy but we steer clear of high traffic days. I love the way it smells, the way the air feels, the whole aesthetic - being in the mountains and playing a mean game of putt-putt.

•Buying new flowers - I get the biggest burst of joy walking through a greenhouse or even the plant section at Lowe's! Being around flowers and garden plants really does it + also photographing them, because, ya know.

•Traveling. If you aren't near me, but you
need me, don't even talk yourself out of inquiring because I bet you I will want to be "where the people are." I love traveling!

THIS guy and I met in high school and it was end game (iykyk). He is the literal love of my life. We have been doing this thing together for so many years now that is seems surreal every time we talk about how long we've actually been together. I didn't think I'd meet my husband in high school (definitely said I wasn't going out that way hahaha) but here we are 17 years later and still doing it to it.

The boy who made me Mama. Babies don't keep, that's one of my reasons for capturing your babes in all their seasons. Truthful Mom moment, there are some things I've already forgotten and I find myself saying, "I need to take more pictures!" When my memories pop up on social media my heart aches a little and then his little moments come rushing back in. I find myself saying, "Thank God for the pictures I did take!" Heart strings officially tugged. He likes to chill, he gives the best love, such a good cuddler, strong willed and determined and so curious.

Stinky Minky! My Mommas Boy. He loves all things buggy and crawly (great joke God, great one). He loves all animals and thinks he can keep every insect or frog that he finds. He loves me so hard and I can't get enough of it. I know he is my mini me because his love for music and dancing cannot be matched. His personality is HUGE and his sense of humor is better than mine at times. He's our blonde headed blue/green eyed love and the last piece of our puzzle.
